SalsaBreeze: How have you learned about salsa and why are you together? Orville: I started dancing salsa about five years ago, back in the day when I was a pure hip-hop head, because some of my home girls used to drag me out to this joint called Copa Cabana on De Maisonneuve Boulevard in Montreal. The club would switch between Latin music and Hip Hop/R&B sets, so during the Latin music, because I had no idea what to do, I would hold up the bar. At one point I saw a man in this grey suit looking so pimpish and wicked, tearing it up. By then I was pretty much a regular at the club and the music was sinking into me. When a group was organized through my work to take a 13-week salsa lesson, everything seemed to be falling into place, so I rolled with it and now it's parquet for life. SalsaBreeze: What is your advice for Belarussian salsa newbies? Orville: My advice for salsa newbies from Belarus or anywhere at that, is to stay focused on what your goals are.... make sure you are committed to what you want to do... and remain positive... as well treat your body with respect this is like any other sport... God bless you all and from me to you, its all love... One.

SalsaBreeze: How have you learned about salsa and why are you together? Super Mario: I learnt Salsa in London, and am with it together because I love dancing it. I mean, I do not perform because time is wasted waiting to do shows and stuff like that. I just want to get on the dance floor and dance all night, and with everyone. SalsaBreeze: What is your advice for Belarussian salsa newbies? Super Mario: Well, to all the newbies, Go out dancing because you want too and not to go out because it is Tuesday night or any other. Keep smiling while you are dancing, and dance with everyone. You will only get better, if you dance as much bad dances as good ones. And practice alot....

SalsaBreeze: How have you learned about salsa and why are you together? Juliette:
I started salsa 4 years ago. I went into a latin club where they
were playing, salsa, merengue and bachata. I couldn't make the difference
between the different types of music but it felt like home. I mean,
I felt like that's what I should do, it was love at first sight. I didn't
have the money to go take classes so I have visited that club for a
year, inviting everyone, going out alone too make sure I would only
dance, and little by little I got it, but it was hard at the beginning. SalsaBreeze: What is your advice for Belarussian salsa newbies? Juliette:
My advice is that they shouldn't compare themselves to the others. We
all started from scratch and had our bad experiences. Just don t give
up, it won't come in one workshop nor overnight. You will sweat a lot
but eventually you will improve without even noticing it. If you enjoy
on the dancefloor, people will notice that and will invite you more
easily.
